In a commitment wedding, the couple won’t have the same legal status as in a legally recognized marriage, which means they won’t have certain legal rights and obligations such as inheritance rights or joint ownership rights.
Commitment wedding ceremonies are typically held as a way to celebrate the relationship and commitment of the couple without involving the legal aspects of marriage. It can be an option for couples who do not want or cannot legally marry but still want to celebrate their relationship in a formal ceremony.
